We’ll be blowing the historic boomtown gusher. This is a re-enactment of the historic 1901 Lucas Gusher on Spindletop. You’ll be amazed as a plume of water soars 100 feet above the 65-foot derrick. This will be happening Saturday, Feb 23 at noon and 4:15PM. You don’t want to miss this!
An assortment of kids activities including oil derrick ring toss, film canister maracas, assemble your own gusher, and a sack race. We’ll also have giveaways featuring Boomtown items as well as some from our merchant vendors! Don’t forget we’ll be blowing the gusher at Noon & 4:15PM!
Come see the 48 Hour Video Race entries screenings followed by the awards ceremony where we will be handing out awards for First through 3rd place for the video race as well as the films in the Feature, Short, and Experimental/Music Video categories.
