Beaumont hunkster swamp punks Too Heavy Boxes showed their teeth less than a year ago, and they’ve been giving you what’s for ever since. Two parts shrimp pop, one part chunk punk, all parts rock n’ roll. Greg Busceme (aka Greg Jr., member of locals Fix Bayonets, Cousin Phelpy, Exploding Boy Toys, and former Plus More) leads the guitar like a man-beast, drummer Haley Hardin sets a new level of serious business in Babetown, and Jess Sword (of former Cussins) has a bass attitude. You don’t know what quite to expect when these showboaters dress up for an event: ninjas, gypsies, animals, American troupers?! But you can always expect great music, great times, and awesome people.
