GUIDELINES

Film contest entries may be shot in any format (35mm, 16mm, Super 8, Beta SP, DV, Hi8, VHS, etc.), but must be submitted on either VHS tapes or DVDs in NTSC format.

All entries require at least two copies of the work to be submitted. Under no circumstance will any of these materials be returned after the festival. DO NOT SEND US YOUR MASTER COPY!

The film rights to all entries must be secured before they are submitted. If you are not the sole creator of your project or any elements within your project then you must first obtain permission from the creative group before sending it to the festival.

Festival policy is to only accept films which were completed no earlier than two years prior to the festival date. However, if there are extenuating circumstances we may consider accepting the entry of an older project.

A feature-length film will be defined as any project with a run time greater than 40 minutes.

We reserve the right to create or eliminate categories based upon the type, number and quality of entries submitted. All decisions made by the judges are final. The name(s) placed on this form will be the name(s) that the award will be made out to in the event that you win the contest.
